Public Notice Regarding the Proposed Appointment of Deputy Editors-in-Chief, Editorial Board Members, and Young Editorial Board Members of Engineering Frontiers

In order further to strengthen the academic governance of Engineering Frontiers, to refine its peer review mechanism, and to enhance the academic quality and international scholarly standing of the journal, the Editorial Office has, following internal review and deliberation by the relevant academic committee, resolved to propose the appointment of the scholars named below as Deputy Editors-in-Chief, Editorial Board Members, and Young Editorial Board Members of the journal. In accordance with established practice governing the appointment of editorial board members of academic journals, and with a view to soliciting comment and inviting due scrutiny, the proposed appointees are hereby made public for comment. The particulars of the proposed appointees are set out below, in the order in which their particulars were submitted or confirmed:

IV. Matters Relating to this Notice

1. The period of public notice shall run for seven (7) days, from 31 July 2026 to 6 August 2026, both dates inclusive.
2. Any institution or individual wishing to raise an objection concerning the qualifications, academic background, veracity of credentials, or any other relevant matter pertaining to a proposed appointee may, during the period of public notice, submit such objection to the Editorial Office through the journal's official website, together with such supporting evidence as may be necessary. The Editorial Office shall give due and careful consideration to any objection so received, and shall take such further action as the outcome of its enquiries may warrant.
3. Upon expiry of the period of public notice, and in the absence of any objection, or where an objection raised is found upon enquiry to be without merit, the appointments set out above shall take effect accordingly, and the Editorial Office shall thereupon issue the relevant letters of appointment and publish notice thereof on the journal's official website. Throughout their respective terms of appointment, the Deputy Editors-in-Chief, Editorial Board Members, and Young Editorial Board Members shall discharge their duties conscientiously, and shall assist the journal in the review of manuscripts, the planning of topics, and the promotion of scholarship, so as jointly to uphold the academic reputation of the journal and to advance its academic quality and international standing.

The Editorial Office wishes to place on record its sincere gratitude to each of the above scholars for their longstanding support of, and confidence in, the journal, and looks forward to their continued and close collaboration in the advancement of academic exchange and scholarship within the relevant fields.
